Summary:
From Yen Press:

The "Roman Club", a school group interested in the occult, to which he's practically enslaved, has become boring for one Hideo Aiba. In fact, he finds his entire existence pretty tiresome until, one day, when a girl named Kurumi Sahana shows up and wants to join up. When the two are left alone in the club classroom, Kurumi makes a special "request" of Hideo, which makes him (understandably) freak out. Though he doesn't know what to think, one thingÂ’s for sure, HideoÂ’s life just became anything but boring.

I don't usually write reviews but when I noticed that Sundome was rated at a paltry 3.5 stars I had to cast my vote for this ground breaking manga. For me, Sundome redefined the purpose, format, and communication of emotions that was possible in manga. Sure, Sundome is not for everyone, but if the reader is willing to endure the ride as I was, I'm sure that most readers would find that their outlook on the artform of manga will have been permanently changed. Even if after reading Sundome the reader were to return to their previous genre of manga, (read more)

From my experience of reading quite a lot of manga.

NOT MANY of them good enough to make me continue.

VERY VERY FEW of them really touching in the end, and gain my tear.

only HALF WAY reading this, I desperately want to finish and I lose quite a lot of tear.

you like it or not, I will not easily forget this manga.

It is different, but pleasing if you don't mind a bittersweet taste

I will say that for a series of this genre that . . . . . . well it is hard to describe. Not many series leave enough of an emotional impact that I keep thinking about the series after finishing it. The comedy is rather funny and the drama and intimate moments feel even more intimate due to how it is written and shown. This is a series I will likely buy in order to support the artist, and there are very few series in which I think like that specifically. So give this manga a chance, I pretty sure it will be enjoyed.

At first glance, I figured that Sundome was going to be one of your average, run of the mill High School Romance/Ecchi storys, however this takes it a little further in a more... perverted way.

Overall, our main character is in a High School Club called the "Roman Club". On the outside, it's labeled as a club that studys outerspace and aliens however, this is just a cover-up for it's real purpose. Any student actively enrolled in the "Roman Club" has to go throughout their whole High School Years and stay a virgin. If they succeed, they will (read more)

the story itself is strange and in the beginning is quite funny, as you keep going the characters really grow as you go along there is no *poof* all better or all a sudden mature awesome character. the characters themselves themselves are quite interesting and all have their good and bad points to them. the drawing is nice to. while some of the features on people are kind of exaggerated other times it has a touch of reality to it, (there is this one girl with Quote unquote "boobs like outa a freakin anime" but really they look like what a normal (read more)
